Cupcakes are all the rage these days, and if your kids love to be your assistant baker, then the Cupcake Creations Party is the package for you.  As with all of our Fancy Pants Parties, we think a cupcake chef should look the part.  With pink and purple aprons, matching chef hats, oven mitts and wooden spoons, your guests will be ready to mix, bake and decorate. They can quickly jot down a recipe in their cupcake note pad using their polka dot pens. Partygoers will also receive adorable cupcake-shaped bubble necklaces, cupcake shaped lip gloss, ring and stickers.

CUPCAKE GAMES SUGGESTIONS:

What's In Your Cupcake?- Have the guests sit in a circle and designate a player to start the game.  She should begin with the statement, "I'm making the most delicious cupcakes today and I am going to put ______ in them."  The first player can choose an ingredient she wants, such as flour.  The player to her right repeats the phrase with whatever ingredient the first player chose and then adds one of her own.  Her statement will be something like, "I'm making the most delicious cupcakes today and I'm going to put flour and eggs in them" Continue through the circle with each player repeating all of the ingredients the players before her named (in the order they were given) and adding one of her own.  As the list of ingredients grows longer it will become harder to remember. If a player forgets and ingredient or names them out of order, she steps out of the circle.  Continue to go around until only the winner remains.  You can encourage the girls to be creative and silly with the ingredients they choose to use.  They will come up with funny things and add humor to the game.

Testing the Chef -  Challenge the palettes of your aspiring culinary artists with a blindfolded taste test game. Pick several different foods.  Finger food are easiest (cut up fruits, cookies, crackers, etc).  Blindfold of each of your guests and give them a sample of the first mystery food.  Don't let them taste it until everyone has some.  Instruct them all to taste at the same time.  The first correct guess wins a point.  Repeat the process for all of the foods to see which chef can earn the most points.
