Before man ever set foot on the moon kids have dreamed of exploring space and the unknown frontier.  Now they can get an early jump on their training with the Aliens and Astronauts Party.  Preparation begins with fact cards full of helpful information and tips for space travel.  Astronaut helmets (which can be personalized using a variety of stickers) are essential for travelers enduring the harsh environment of outer space, and laser powered space shooters (with light and sound efftects) help ward off alien invaders.  Young cosmonauts can bring home alien egg babies for study, and flashing space discs for tossing around day or night.  Guests will also receive an astronaut badge to complete their training, space shuttle cup, bouncing space ball, and astronaut stickers.

ASTRONAUT GAME SUGGESTIONS:

Alien Egg Hunt (or Moon Rock Collecting) - Spray paint plastic Easter eggs in Neon Green, Gold, or a textured paint.  Hide them around the yard or house and let your little astronauts go on an expedition to gather them.  If you are using eggs you can hide surprises inside.  If you are having a moon rock mission you can spray paint any old rocks.  After they've been hidden, challenge the guests to see who can find the most moon rocks.

Space Training Races - Line each child up side by side on one end of the room or yard.  The "Mission Commander" will then give instructions on how to proceed forward towards the finish line.  Ex - hop on one leg, crawl on all 4's, walk super-slowly like they're on the moon, etc, until someone crosses the finish line. 

Abduct the Alien - If you've ever played "Capture The Flag", you understand the basic concept of this game.  You'll need a large area to play. Divide the players into 2 teams. Then divide the playing field into three sections (each team's home base and one neutral space).  Give each team one of the inflatable aliens (from the Aliens and Astronauts Party Package). The Alien will stand on his own, but it is helpful if you have a means to prop him up. Each team must try to "abduct' the other team's alien, while protecting their own. When players are in enemy territory they can be tagged by the opposing team.  You have the option to have the tagged players be forced to join the opposing team or be place in "jail" for a specified amount of time. The game is won by abducting the opposing team's alien and bringing it back to home base without being tagged.
